EGA Supports Thanks to the Generations Maker 2016 Event
Reflecting its business value to contribute meaningfully to the community where it operates, Emirates Global Aluminium ("EGA") is the Bronze Sponsor of "An Evening of Loyalty ... Thanks to the Generations Maker", which takes place today, Saturday 19 March 2016 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates ("UAE") under the patronage of the Kelna UAE Association. This is the aluminium producer's first involvement in the event.
Held coincident with World Mother's Day, "Thanks to the Generations Maker" is held in honour of mothers in the UAE to display their accomplishments and acknowledge their management role in the society. The annual event takes place for the 3rd successive year in 2016, and this year is committed to the moms of the martyrs of the UAE.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Khalid Essa Buhumaid (Senior Vice President, Government Relations) stated, "At EGA, we are passionate about supporting important causes in the UAE community. We are proud to be associated with an event that honours the women who play a leading role in the future development of the nation and society, in addition to the mothers of the martyrs who have actually fearlessly laid down their lives to safeguard our great nation. EGA continuously invests time, funds and expertise to support a broad range of community-oriented events and activities. To this day in 2016, this has included assistance of the Awladouna Center in Dubai, the Talent Advancement Centre in Abu Dhabi, and a host of other community-based efforts such as 'Pink Friday' for bust cancer awareness and the Family Safety & Security Forum to promote safety awareness in the community.
