Ducab Strengthens Presence in Africa with First High-Voltage Cable Supply to Senegal
Ducab Group, one of the UAE's largest end-to-end solutions providers and manufacturers, has marked a significant milestone by delivering 220kV high-voltage (HV) cables to Senegal. This marks Ducab's entry into its 23rd African market and is a critical component of Dakar’s electrification project aimed at modernizing the capital’s power infrastructure to meet growing energy demands.

Ducab’s entry into Senegal is part of its ongoing growth strategy in Africa. The company already exports to 23 African nations, including Angola, South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe, and Egypt. With operations spanning 75 global markets, Ducab’s expansion underscores its dedication to supporting Africa’s critical infrastructure projects.
This development coincides with the UAE’s $4.5 billion pledge to fund renewable energy initiatives across Africa, reinforcing shared commitments to sustainable development and energy transformation.
