RAMINVEST HOLDING is advancing the next phase of its gold exploration programme in Mauritania after sampling at its Wompou Gold Project returned assay values of up to 50.14 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold.

The company has identified six priority targets, T-01 to T-06, for first-pass drill testing at the project, which covers 446 square kilometres within the Mauritanides Belt. The project is held through RAMINVEST's Mauritanian subsidiary under Exploration Permit 2265B2.

Six Targets Identified for Initial Drilling

The identification of six priority targets marks the next stage of exploration at Wompou.

RAMINVEST said the planned programme is designed to assess the continuity, geometry, grade distribution and potential scale of the mineralised system. Initial work will help determine whether the identified mineralisation extends across the priority areas and warrants further exploration.

The company said the next phase is expected to include field verification, detailed geological and geochemical investigations and targeted drilling, subject to the required technical and regulatory approvals.

Arsenic-Gold Correlation Supports Target Selection

Statistical analysis conducted as part of the exploration programme identified a strong correlation between arsenic and gold, with a reported correlation coefficient of R = 0.989.

RAMINVEST said the finding supports the use of arsenic as a pathfinder element when defining exploration targets. The approach will be used alongside geological and geochemical work to refine the areas selected for drilling.

Drilling to Assess Wompou's Mineralisation Potential

The planned drilling programme is intended to provide greater information about the characteristics and extent of the mineralised system.

RAMINVEST said the work could eventually support the transition towards resource definition and development studies, although drilling remains subject to the necessary technical and regulatory approvals.

The company plans to release additional exploration results as the programme progresses.

Reda Rami Highlights Gold Exploration Potential

Reda Rami, Chairman of RAMINVEST HOLDING, said the combination of the 50.14 g/t assay results and six identified targets provides a basis for moving Wompou towards drilling.

He also linked the project to RAMINVEST's wider mineral exploration activities in Mauritania, including its rare earth elements and niobium interests at the Tabatanet Project.

Tabatanet Adds Rare Earth and Niobium Exposure

Alongside Wompou, RAMINVEST is advancing the Tabatanet Project through its subsidiary BARAKA Mines.

The project covers 496 square kilometres and gives the group exposure to rare earth elements and niobium, which are used in areas including advanced manufacturing, high-performance materials, aerospace and electronics.

Together, Wompou and Tabatanet form RAMINVEST's Mauritania-focused platform spanning gold and critical minerals.

RAMINVEST Prepares for Next Development Phase

RAMINVEST said it has built its position in Mauritania by identifying, acquiring and consolidating prospective ground over several years.

The group's next phase is expected to focus on targeted drilling, resource development, strategic partnerships and project financing as it evaluates the potential of its mineral assets.

The Wompou drilling programme will be an important step in determining whether the high-grade sampling results can translate into a broader and potentially developable mineralised system.
