Dubai Land Department Signs 11 Strategic Agreements to Drive Innovation and Service Excellence in Real Estate Sector

In a major step toward reshaping the real estate landscape, the Dubai Land Department (DLD) has signed 11 strategic cooperation agreements with a diverse array of local and international entities. These signings took place during DLD’s participation in the International Property Show (IPS) 2025, one of the world’s leading real estate platforms.

The agreements underscore DLD’s commitment to fostering innovation, enhancing service excellence, and promoting transparency across the sector. They also support the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033 by enabling sustainable, smart real estate investment and development.

Strategic Partnerships for a Transparent and Innovative Sector

H.E. Majid Al Marri, CEO of the Real Estate Registration Sector at DLD, signed agreements with six key organizations:

  • Bidbayt for Property Public Auction

  • Auctions

  • Shory Insurance Brokerage

  • Eqarcom Solutions Information Technology

  • HRE Real Estate Development

  • Miami Association of Realtors

These agreements aim to enhance auction services, introduce smart insurance solutions, and integrate technology to promote greater transparency and efficiency in real estate operations.

One notable partnership is with Bidbayt, which allows the integration of DLD’s official rental index with the platform—enabling verified data access for investors and decision-makers. Additionally, DLD granted a license to Auctions to regulate real estate auctions in line with international standards, stimulating investment activity.

The memorandum with Shory will introduce innovative insurance services to improve financial protection for landlords and tenants. Meanwhile, the collaboration with Eqarcom will advance property technology, sustainability practices, and regulatory efficiency.

Through its partnership with the Miami Association of Realtors, DLD aims to strengthen cross-border cooperation, encourage mutual exchange of market insights, and expand international investment opportunities.

Empowering Women and Expanding Services

H.E. Majida Ali Rashed, CEO of the Real Estate Development Sector at DLD, signed five more agreements with:

  • Gulf Vision

  • Bin Shabib

  • Al Yalayis GT Center

  • Barnes Middle East and Africa Holding

  • Innovation Experts Real Estate Institute

These partnerships focus on outsourcing real estate services, supporting women in the sector, and delivering high-quality, integrated solutions. As part of this effort, DLD also signed an addendum to its agreement with the Innovation Experts Real Estate Institute to reinforce the She Pioneers programme. This initiative supports female professionals through specialised training in real estate brokerage and investment.

In line with the Women’s Charter initiative, DLD also partnered with HRE Real Estate Development to promote leadership roles, flexible working environments, and investment opportunities tailored for women in real estate.

Advancing Dubai’s Real Estate Future

Majid Al Marri emphasized that these agreements mark a step forward in building a sustainable, globally competitive integrated real estate ecosystem.

“Our collaboration with leading partners directly supports our strategic goals of providing a transparent and secure real estate environment for investors and the wider community,” he stated.

Majida Ali Rashed added,

“We are advancing a forward-looking real estate ecosystem that positions Dubai as a hub for innovation-driven investment. These partnerships reflect our dedication to shaping a smart and sustainable future.”

The agreements are vital to achieving Dubai’s long-term vision as a global real estate hub. They reinforce institutional cooperation, drive digital transformation, and encourage private sector participation in real estate development and services.
