Dubai Government Workshop holds activities to mark World Diabetes Day 2019
The Dubai Government Workshop (DGW), in a joint effort with the Emirates Specialty Hospital, praised the World Diabetes Day, which falls on November 14 of consistently, to help increment open mindfulness on treatment strategies for diabetes and other chronic sicknesses. The recognition demonstrated that one of DGW's priorities is to help socially significant exercises in the emirate.
Fahad Al-Raisi, Deputy CEO of DGW, stated: "The Emirates Specialty Hospital is a significant and strategic partner for us in our continuous activity to teach our workers and the individual members of the communities we serve about the rising prevalence of diabetes in our society. We work inside the system of good leadership and proper guidance to help guarantee a protected and healthy environment for all Dubai residents, in accordance with Dubai Health Strategy 2021. We held various awareness exercises to make a more profound open public understanding of various chronic disease as a feature of celebration."
Its exercises included talks, early diabetes screening, and HBA1C, RBS, blood pressure, blood sugar/glucose, and cholesterol testing. Moreover, DGW set up a station where medical secialists shared more data about blood sugar and appropriate nutrition with the employees.
