The Dubai Government Human Resources (DGHR) Department has successfully wrapped up its participation in the 23rd edition of Ru'ya Careers UAE, held from September 24 to 26 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Themed "[YOU]th Can," this year’s event focused on empowering young Emiratis by promoting innovation, creativity, and skill development to align with the UAE's Emiratisation goals.

As the event’s official government sponsor, DGHR emphasized the Emirati Human Resources Development Council, which conducted workshops and counseling sessions for students in grade nine and above. These sessions covered career development, vocational training, and skill-building, helping young Emiratis better prepare for the job market.

H.E. Our curated projects and initiatives aimed at preparing them for future job prospects and enabling their contribution to the UAE's future objectives.”

This year’s Ru'ya Careers UAE also spotlighted future job market needs, especially skills in artificial intelligence (AI). As H.E. Al Falasi noted, digital skills are increasingly essential for students, graduates, and professionals seeking career advancement in AI and other emerging fields.

The Dubai Government Platform featured 21 government entities across 188 disciplines, including IT, strategy, marketing, legal affairs, and human resources. This initiative enabled entities to showcase innovative programs and highlight opportunities for young Emiratis in scientific and practical fields, addressing the UAE's evolving job market needs.
