Dubai Electricity and Water Authority sponsors 20th Dubai International Holy Quran Award

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is sponsoring the 20th International Holy Qur' an Award (DIHQA), on 12 June. The award commemorates the late Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and is being held at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. HE Ohoud Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Happiness, HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, and HE Ibrahim Bu Melha, Adviser to the Ruler of Dubai for Cultural and Humanitarian Affairs and Head of the DIHQA organising committee, participated in the event, which included a lecture by Sheikh Saad Al Atiq from Saudi Arabia, on the 'Secrets of Happiness.'

The 20th DIHQA is held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and takes place from 1-20 Ramadan, and consists of lectures for guys, women, and foreign communities. A group of popular scholars from worldwide will participate. The rewards consisted of in the award are of greater value than those anywhere else in the world due to its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and commitment to boosting Islamic Values and national identity.

During the event, DEWA's preservation team also supplied the audience with suggestions and suggestions about electricity and water usage.

"Our sponsorship of the 20th International Holy Qur'an Award is specifically essential. At DEWA, we are committed to supporting all philanthropic and humanitarian initiatives that improve National identity. These activities are important to DEWA's social role as public organization, and its efforts to promote the values of giving, uniformity, and sharing," included Al Tayer.

"During Ramadan, we strive to improve our efforts to raise awareness about the value of conserving electricity and water. Everybody is accountable for safeguarding the environment, and promoting this culture throughout society," concluded Al Tayer.
