DIFC Authority organised the 3rd annual Iftar gathering with Thalassemia patients at the Latifa Hospital. Thalassemia is a blood disorder disease affecting over 1 in 10 children in the UAE. Employees of DIFC Authority distributed books to children as part of DIFCs commitment to supporting the work of Thalassemia Center and this years Ramadan Reading Nation campaign, an educational campaign launched by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.
