DGW employees complete Central Trading Company-led workshop held in partnership with Michelin Middle East
Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) has declared the training completion of its first batch of employees who took part in the tire fitting and car preservation workshops administered by the Central Trading Company, in partnership with Michelin Middle East. The training was designed to strengthen the skills of the participants in line with DGWs enduring efforts to improve and develop the capabilities of its employees as their work is vital to ensuring the production and safety of vehicles in Dubai.
Mr Aqeel Al Janahi, Director Mechanical Engineering Department in DGW, said: Through training programs, we are also growing our partnerships with the private sector to improve the appearance of our employees and refine their skills in terms of using the latest technologies and implementing the best industry practices. This cooperation, which included providing appropriate training to DGWs engineering maintenance department, formed part of our efforts to maintain on our path of perfection by delivering services that comply with the best global standards and practices.
He also praised the Central Trading Company for giving its expertise and technologies with participating DGW employees, saying that enhancing their skills would continue to help secure the performance and safety of vehicles in the emirate.
The event was attended by Central Trading Company General Manager, Mr Mohamed Fathy Akl and the Director of Engineering Maintenance Department in DGW Aqeel Al-Janahi; and several DGW employees.
