DGHR Organizes Third Edition of Human Resources Forum for 2024
The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) hosted the third edition of the Human Resources Forum for 2024, focusing on Talent Management and the Future of Human Resources. The event, held at the Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk, brought together government officials, HR professionals, and industry experts to discuss global trends in talent management and the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in shaping the future of the workforce.
His Excellency Abdulla Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of DGHR, emphasized the forum's role in enhancing the skills and adaptability of Dubai’s workforce, aligning with Dubai’s vision to become one of the world’s smartest cities. The forum serves as an integral platform to exchange ideas, explore emerging HR practices, and discuss the impact of technology on talent development.
Key speakers included His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, who shared insights from his six-month space mission, highlighting the UAE's commitment to advancing space exploration. Abdulaziz Khalid AlJaziri, Deputy CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, and Awadh AlMur, Chief AI Officer at the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation, also presented sessions on the future of talent management and AI’s transformative impact on HR processes.
The forum featured a panel discussion with experts from various sectors, including LinkedIn, Oracle, and Abu Dhabi Customs, who discussed best practices and future trends in human resource management. Participants agreed on the importance of equipping employees with digital skills and fostering a flexible, future-ready workforce.
