In a bid to bolster its workforce's capabilities and equip them with cutting-edge skills, the Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has rolled out a comprehensive training program focusing on the fundamentals of generative artificial intelligence (AI). This initiative aligns with DGHR's commitment to fostering a workforce adept at navigating the demands of the modern workplace, particularly in the realm of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies.

The training program, designed to empower DGHR employees, encompasses both theoretical insights and practical applications of generative AI. Participants are introduced to the 01Gov platform, where they can enhance their professional competitiveness by immersing themselves in AI tools, thereby contributing significantly to the service's digital transformation agenda.

His Excellency Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of Dubai Government Human Resources Department, emphasized the critical role of upskilling initiatives in today's rapidly evolving landscape. "As the primary driving force behind societal development, the human element stands as the most valuable resource for institutions," stated H.E. Al Falasi. "Equipping our workforce with progressive skillsets, such as proficiency in generative artificial intelligence, is imperative to meet the evolving demands of the modern workspace."

The program, comprising a series of courses, aims to enhance employees' proficiency in utilizing AI tools and familiarize them with key concepts. Furthermore, the program underscores the transformative potential of generative AI in driving innovation and streamlining workflows across diverse industries. By enabling human resources to focus on core tasks, AI applications pave the way for enhanced productivity and strategic leadership development within the department.

The culminating event of the training program, the Human Resources Hackathon 'The Future of Human Resources,' underscores DGHR's commitment to fostering innovation and cultivating skilled leaders within the government sector.
