DEWAs Iftar tent provides for 2,200 people daily during Ramadan

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) organises events and activities focused on promoting Islamic values and traditions, throughout the holy month of Ramadan as part of its continuous efforts to promote communication and partnership and social cohesion among all its personnel. The activities begin with DEWA's Ramadan Tent, which lies at DEWA's Head Office, and serves Iftar meals to DEWA staff who are on duty throughout Maghreb prayers. The Iftar meals are likewise readily available to the general public of all nationalities, throughout Ramadan. DEWA also offers Iftar meals for staff members who work during Iftar in various departments, consisting of the complaints department, emergency services, electricity and water network operations in different DEWA locations, Jebel Ali Power Station, and Warsan.

HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of DEWA, congratulated DEWA's employees on the event of Ramadan, wishing them health and excellence.

Daily Iftar meals are provided to 2,200 fasting people at various places, including DEWA's Head Office, and the electrical power generation station and water desalination plant in Jebel Ali.
