Cybersecurity Leader PROW Unveils Expansion Plans Across Africa
PROW, a Dubai-based leader in advanced cybersecurity solutions, has announced ambitious expansion plans targeting Africa, seeking strategic partnerships and collaboration opportunities across the continent. The announcement was made during the 44th Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) at the Dubai World Trade Center, the region's largest technology event.
The expansion comes as PROW aims to capitalize on Africa’s rapidly growing technology market, which is expected to surpass $3.7 billion in cybersecurity value by 2025. With a solid foundation in the Middle East, GCC, and Southeast Asia, PROW is now looking to enter African markets, focusing on major projects within both the public and private sectors, particularly in cybersecurity, information security, and data management.
Roland Hashem, Managing Director at PROW, emphasized the company’s commitment to partnering with local entities to deliver state-of-the-art cybersecurity solutions. "Our mission is to deploy top-notch expertise and cutting-edge solutions in high-growth markets like Africa," Hashem stated.

During GITEX, PROW also introduced its new managed security services arm, iGuard. The new division will be led by Benita Cherfane, Managing Partner at iGuard and Country Manager for PROW in the UAE and Central Asia.
Cherfane highlighted iGuard’s focus on providing actionable alerts to organizations, minimizing false positives, and enhancing security teams' effectiveness. "We prioritize quality over quantity by delivering precise, actionable alerts to keep organizations protected," she stated.
