Culligan sanitisers earned safety approval from Municipality.
Culligan Center East has made safety approval from an independent research study expert for the sanitiser created in the UAE when the company created a new product line in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The surface and skin contact sanitiser was adapted through a lab procedure in Dubai from one of Culligan's range of water therapy products made use of in the supply of water to sector hospitals, hotels as well as houses across the region.
It has a base of hypochlorous acid, a substance the body's white blood cells create normally to fight infection, and Culligan appointed a record on the product by UK-based Equipment, a leading study organisation being experts in dermatology and ophthalmology.
The record ended that the Culligan sanitiser certified as being "extremely efficient for sanitation" and was "particularly ideal for ecological disinfection applications, such as reducing ecological transmission of viruses in between people."
Culligan SafeGuard 45 H 25 has also been tested and passed by Dubai Central Laboratory and certified both by the Emirates Authority For Standardization & Metrology and Dubai Municipality.
"As a responsible company, our priority is always to ensure that our products are safe and effective," said Culligan Middle East technical director, Rodger Macfarlane. "The safety report is testimony to the dedication of our laboratory team, and the hard work of our production team, to develop the sanitiser from an existing water treatment product in the space of two weeks."
