CBeebies Wins Channel of the Year at the Childrens BAFTAs 2016

21 December 2016 BBC Children's and Learning in the UK tidied up finally Sunday's Children's BAFTAs, winning 13 awards, consisting of the distinguished Network of the Year Award for CBeebies. Other significant highlights included Finest Pre-school Computer animation for Hey Duggee and Ideal Pre-school Live Activity Award for Topsy and Tim.

Within the Pre-school groups, CBeebies controlled, with BAFTA nominations for no less than six programs. Of these, Hey Duggee, Go Jetters, and Sarah and Duck were appointed and executive created by BBC Worldwide. And Andy's Ancient Journeys is a co-commission from CBeebies and the BBC's Natural History System.

Natasha Hussain, Vice President and General Manager of Middle East and Mediterranean commented, "CBeebies is a network that we are tremendously happy with and it is wonderful to see it recognised by BAFTA again.
