Baby Born Without Anus Operated on Successfully to Lead a Normal Life

Dubai, UAE, 19 December, 2016: A team of paediatric experts at Zulekha Hospital Sharjah have done an effective surgical procedure on a one-day-old baby who was birthed with no anal opening.

During a routine postnatal check, the baby kid was detected with imperforate anus, a life-threatening birth that usually requires at least one surgical treatment.
