Atlantis Dubai has announced the promotion of Dean Walsh to Executive Director of Sales, where he will spearhead global leisure market growth for both Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis The Royal.

Walsh, who joined the resort in August 2023 as Director of Sales, has been instrumental in strengthening Atlantis Dubai’s market presence across the UK, Europe, and Australasia. Over the past year, he has led a global leisure sales team of 15, significantly boosting revenues and market share through his results-driven strategies and collaborative leadership.

In his new role, Walsh will oversee the execution of Atlantis Dubai’s global leisure sales strategy, managing Directors and Managers across domestic and international markets. He will report directly to Kyp Charalambous, Vice President of Sales, ensuring that sales initiatives align with the brand’s revenue objectives and reinforce Atlantis Dubai’s positioning as a world-leading luxury destination.

With nearly two decades of hospitality and tourism experience, Walsh has held senior sales and marketing roles at leading luxury hotel brands, including InterContinental, One&Only Resorts, Viceroy, W Hotels, and Jumeirah. His career reflects a strong track record in building high-performing teams, forging strategic partnerships, and driving consistent revenue growth across competitive global markets.
