Applications Open for MBZUAI’s Six-Day Intensive AI Program for Executives
Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI) invites thirty local and international executives to apply for its upcoming six-day intensive program, the MBZUAI Executive Program - Accelerated (MEP-A). This condensed version of the popular MBZUAI Executive Program (MEP) will take place in Abu Dhabi from October 20 to October 25, 2024.
The MEP-A will begin with an orientation day on October 20, followed by a series of on-campus lectures, site visits, and cultural and networking activities. The curriculum will delve into the UAE's AI strategy, AI fundamentals, and industry case studies in sectors such as robotics, manufacturing, and energy. Participants will also gain firsthand insights into how UAE-based organizations are leveraging AI and advanced technologies.
The program will feature lectures from renowned experts, including MBZUAI’s President and University Professor Eric Xing; Michael Jordan, Pehong Chen Distinguished Professor in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley; Sami Haddadin, Vice President for Research and Professor of Robotics at MBZUAI; along with distinguished instructors from leading international institutions and national leaders.
Sultan Al Hajji, MBZUAI’s Vice President of Public Affairs and Alumni Relations, stated, "MEP-A maintains high academic standards and offers executives, startup founders, top management from publicly traded companies, multinational corporations, and international foundation directors access to the world’s leading AI minds right here in Abu Dhabi. This program provides participants with the knowledge to implement AI strategies responsibly and effectively, concluding with business integration sessions to directly apply their newfound expertise within their organizations."
The program will host 30 participants, who may also choose to attend the GITEX Global event at Dubai World Trade Center from October 14 to 18, 2024, as a prelude to MEP-A.
