Aduna Announces e& as Equity Partner in Global Network API Venture

Aduna, a pioneering venture formed by leading global telecom operators and Ericsson, has announced the inclusion of global technology group e& as an equity partner. The announcement was made by e& Group CEO Hatem Dowidar during his keynote speech at Mobile World Congress 2025 in Barcelona.

The partnership will enable e& to integrate its network Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) across its operations in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Central and Eastern Europe, expanding Aduna’s growing global platform. With telecom operations spanning 20 countries, e&'s addition will enhance Aduna’s reach in emerging markets and accelerate the adoption of standardized network APIs among developers worldwide.

Advancing Global API Innovation

Through its collaboration with Aduna, e& will facilitate developers' access to standardized network features that enhance quality of service, fraud prevention, security, and monetization. This initiative aims to drive innovation by empowering developers and enterprises to leverage next-generation API solutions.

Harrison Lung, Group Chief Strategy Officer, e&, stated: “We are delighted to join Aduna as an equity partner in this industry-changing ecosystem. This collaboration will empower developers and enterprises to connect, innovate, and scale through platformization as the next growth engine. Working alongside Ericsson and global telecom operators, we aim to unlock new business models and accelerate digital transformation across all e& markets.”

Anthony Bartolo, CEO, Aduna, added: “We welcome e& as an equity partner and valued member of our global network API ecosystem. e&'s expansive geographical footprint across Asia, Europe, and Africa brings invaluable insights and innovation opportunities. Their participation strengthens Aduna’s vision of becoming the world’s leading network API platform.”

A Growing Global Ecosystem

Aduna provides network APIs to a broad ecosystem of developer platforms, hyperscalers, communications platform-as-a-service (CPaaS) providers, system integrators, and independent software vendors. These APIs are based on CAMARA APIs, an open-source initiative by the GSMA and Linux Foundation.

Aduna’s rapidly growing ecosystem already includes major global telecom operators, such as América Móvil, AT&T, Bharti Airtel, Deutsche Telekom, KDDI, Orange, Reliance Jio, Singtel, Telefónica, Telstra, T-Mobile, Verizon, Vodafone, and Ericsson.
