ADIHEX Promotional Tour in the Countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)
The Organising Committee of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX 2015) is arranging a promotional tour in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC). The tour, which takes place in August, will include the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Rulers Representative in the Western Region, ADIHEX 2015 will run from the 9th until the 12th of September.
Director of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX 2015), Abdullah Batti Al Qubaisi, explained that this promotional tour will feature a number of press conferences to disclose key particulars about the activities of this important event, which will be hosted by the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi. The tour also seeks to lure more exhibitors and encourage GCC nationals to attend the numerous activities and events of the Exhibition, which has become a magnet for all those who love falconry, hunting, equestrian, and camel activities, and are awaiting this annual heritage event.
The participation from the GCC region constitutes a major incentive for ADIHEX. Over the period of the Exhibition, thousands of visitors flock from the GCC countries to the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi. Falconry, hunting and equestrian remain some the activities that have been loved and admired by the people in the region, since ancient times. This year, the Exhibition offers a new opportunity for the lovers of hunting to exchange ideas and experience and discover the latest innovations in the world of falconry, hunting and equestrian, Qubaisi added.
Until now, the booking rate has exceeded 85% of the total designated area for the Exhibition. The companies willing to participate represent about 50 countries from around the world. The rate of the new participations has reached 20%, at the moment, he explained.
ADIHEX 2015 enjoys a large contribution from the GCC region, at the level of exhibitors, including companies and authorities, and lovers of authentic heritage sports. There are also participants who are enthusiastic to take part in the different competitions of the Exhibition, Qubaisi said.
He noted that the participation from the GCC region reflects the strength of the brotherly relations between the Arab Gulf countries. The participating companies from the GCC region have expressed their deep satisfaction with the support that has been provided by the Organising Committee of ADIHEX. Such an encouraging environment contributes to the strengthening of efforts made toward the preservation of heritage sports, the support of scientific and research contributions and the implementation of programmes that seek to increase awareness among falconers and reinforce sustainable hunting, he added.
The Exhibitors from the Gulf region have reaffirmed their wish to take part in the activities of this major event, which is considered as one of the major of its kind in the Middle East and which is widely recognised as one of the largest platforms for the display of essential equipment provided by the hunting and equestrian market.
