Canon Middle East, a world leader in imaging solutions, announced Wouter Kingma as the first Large Format Printing (LFP) Ambassador in the region. Kingma, a commercial and editorial photographer, will work with Canon to provide industrial insights and educational materials to the photography community about the importance and benefits of Large Format Printing.

The initiative further reinforces Canon Middle Easts "closer to customers" strategy as it helps strengthen long-term relationships with photographers while exercising its corporate social responsibility with the aim of becoming a truly excellent global corporation. The partnership is also in line with Canon Middle Easts ongoing commitment and investment in the Large Format Graphic Arts Printing industry.

As a Canon Middle East ambassador, Kingma will inspire professional photographers and photo enthusiasts with his experience of linking photography and printing to produce hard-hitting images. Furthermore, Kingma will highlight Canons award winning solutions and provide tips and tricks during dedicated workshops targeting photo studios, photographer associations, art schools, resellers and others from the photography market throughout the region.

Anurag Agrawal, Canon Middle East Managing Director, said: Wouter is a highly accomplished visual artist who has completed stunning photography assignments across a wide range of subjects. As someone who loves to push the boundaries professionally, Wouter shares the same passion, innovation and energy as Canon to capture crisp and fresh imagery. We believe this partnership regarding LFP solutions will be a catalyst for a new wave of creative photography that will help photographers successfully shift their images from digital files to head-turning graphics.

On his appointment as Canons first LFP ambassador, Wouter Kingma said: This partnership with Canon is very exciting because there are talented photographers in the region not have been exposed to what great art you can create with large format printers. We all want to showcase our work and the LFPs are great tool to get creative. I look forward to sharing with the photography community the unique solutions Canon can provide in making their images have incredible impact.
