Abu Dhabi Classics Welcomes Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra For Two Concert
The Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra, one of the leading young musical ensembles worldwide, will perform 2 concerts this week at 2 spectacular locations in Abu Dhabi as part of the emirate's Abu Dhabi Classics international concert season.
The orchestra, based in Vienna, Austria and founded in 1986, comprises 120 artists, last week made its launching look in the emirate with a concert titled 'Universal Expressions: Celebrating Louvre Abu' which happened at the Manarat Al Saadiyat on Saadiyat Island with music inspired by the brand-new museum and consisting of two opening night commissions.
