Arun Varghese is a Software Engineer hailing from Trivandrum, India. Currently he is the Managing Director of the renowned Bluesky Technology Consultant FZE. Arun did not make it to this height in this busy city of Dubai within the rise of a single sun, but Arun’s unwavering dedication and sincere efforts took him to where he stands today – among the best businessmen in the UAE. 

During his many unavoidable pre-occupations Mr. Arun Varghese finds some time to share his experiences with dayofdubai.

dayofdubai: How far have you come until Bluesky Technology Consultants FZE?

Arun Varghese: (with a slight smile and a friendly tone begins replying) I have come a long way. Bluesky Technology Consultants FZE is the fruit of long years of hard-work and uncompromising effort. I am basically a software engineer. I started my career working at Titan Industries back in India. That is probably the first step. After which I took one of the best decisions in my life, which was to fly to the Middle East. Upon arriving here, I started working with an Austrian firm which continued for almost 15 years. I was the Regional IT Head there. 
However, I always fantasized about starting a company of my own. I wanted to bring out the best in me. I wanted to work with my talents for a better cause. And driven by this motive, Bluesky Technology Consultants took birth.

dayofdubai: How was the beginning for you?

Arun Varghese: It was not easy. I had to burn a lot calories and spend many a sleepless nights to see this dream of mine come true. At the very start of it, we had a sales office in Dubai and a back-end development centre in Trivandrum, Kerala. During that stage, we had just 2 employees.

dayofdubai: Fast-forward to the present, where do you see yourself today?

Arun Varghese: Today we are a well-established team with around 25 members. The last few years saw our expansion in the Middle East market. Working at Ajman Free Zone, we have a 5-member group accompanied by a technical team, with our development centre working back in Trivandrum. With overwhelming requirements, we expanded further, and now we also have Representative offices in the USA as well as Australia. 

dayofdubai: Tell us more about Bluesky Technology Consultants, what is it? What are your services?

Arun Varghese: We are a team working day and night on innovative ideas to create thought-provoking solutions. We don’t deal with our end-produce as mere products. We envisage it at a higher level. It is more like a solution to your hundred and one problems. We deal in-house with everything – from website to ERP solutions.
We have a wide range of products like ERP lite, ERP standard, ERP premium, HRMS, CRM, Facility Management, Finance, Logistics, Real Estate and Edumate School Management System.

Arun Varghese: We are a team dedicated to fulfilling the needs of our customers. We analyse and recognize the problems they face and tailor the solutions so as to satisfy them. We create customized solutions. We create such solutions that you don’t have to adapt to it, but it will adapt to you. This is one exclusive factor about us.

dayofdubai: How far do you think the UAE has helped you grow?

Arun Varghese: UAE is a wonderful place to do business. It is a place where your effort is directly proportional to your efforts. It is an ideal place for industries. It is a place that brings out the best in us. I will always be grateful to this place for what it has given me. 

dayofdubai: What are your future plans for Bluesky Technology Consultants?

Arun Varghese: We are constantly working towards betterment – both our and that of our customers. We are in a quest for new technologies. We are also thinking of focusing more into mobile applications and their development. We want to discover new and better solutions in the future that will make life in the digital-era easier. We are working towards the making of IT Solutions that will be a boon to the customer than a bane.
