Salik to Introduce Customised Tags for Corporate Customers in Dubai
Dubai’s exclusive toll gate operator, Salik, is preparing to roll out a new initiative called ‘Customised Tags’, offering corporate customers the opportunity to personalise their Salik tags with unique designs, branding elements, or messages.
The company announced the launch of this innovation alongside its Q1 2025 revenue report, noting the move as part of its broader commitment to enhancing the customer experience and embracing digital innovation.
“This initiative reflects Salik’s commitment to enhancing customer experience and embracing innovation,” the company said in an official statement on Tuesday.
Each time a vehicle passes through any Salik gate in Dubai, RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology detects the vehicle and scans the tag, automatically deducting the toll fee from the user's prepaid Salik account.
The introduction of customisable tags is expected to appeal to fleet operators, delivery services, and large corporates, who can now leverage the visibility of Salik tags as a branding and operational tool.
