World's Light Painting Masters and GAC Create Stunning Chinese Giant Light-Painted Dragon in Dubai
In a spectacular celebration coinciding with the Chinese Year of the Dragon in 2024 and the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the UAE, the world-renowned light painting master Roywang has collaborated with GAC to create an extraordinary light-painted dragon in Dubai. The event took place on the evening of May 18, 2024, against the iconic skyline of Dubai's D3 district.
A Symbol of China-UAE Friendship
This artistic masterpiece, spanning an impressive 6,000 square meters, is the world's largest light-painted dragon to date. The Xinxingshe Roywang Light Painting Art team utilized the stunning Dubai cityscape as their backdrop, car headlights as their light pen, and the vast space near the Dubai Canal as their canvas. The creation featured three GAC vehicles: M8, EMPOW, and EMZOOM GS3, which represented the dragon's head, body, and tail, respectively.
An Artistic and Cultural Marvel
As night fell, the dragon came to life, symbolizing the enduring friendship between China and the UAE. The dragon's head, inspired by Chinese artistry, seamlessly blended into an Arabic text-shaped body, showcasing a fusion of creativity and cultural appreciation. The headlights of the GAC cars flickered and trailed, creating a mesmerizing effect. Surrounding the dragon, twinkling star lights symbolized China's technological advancements shining on the world stage.
Official Recognition
Mr. Khalil from the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority approved the artistic creation, expressing his amazement at the innovative combination of cars and light painting art, as well as the integration of Chinese and Arabic elements. "This is the first time I have witnessed such a performance. I am truly amazed by the fusion of cars and light painting art, and the cultural blend of the Chinese dragon with Arabic text," he remarked.
The event not only highlighted the artistic ingenuity of Roywang and his team but also celebrated the strong cultural and diplomatic ties between China and the UAE.
