Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and Fatafeat Set New Guinness World Record for Longest Cheese Board to Celebrate Tom and Jerry's 85th Anniversary
Warner Bros. World™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, in collaboration with Fatafeat, the leading Arabic food network under Warner Bros. Discovery, has set a new Guinness World Record™ for the Longest Cheese Board/Platter, commemorating the 85th anniversary of the beloved cartoon duo, Tom and Jerry.
The record-breaking celebration took place at Warner Bros. World™ Abu Dhabi, the Middle East’s largest indoor theme park, and was held in conjunction with World Cheese Day on June 4. The event, titled Tom and Jerry’s Big Cheese Adventure, paid tribute to the cartoon’s iconic cheese-chasing antics and featured a spectacular 30-meter-long cheese board.
Weighing approximately 345 kilograms, the cheese board consisted of 80% cheese and 20% accompaniments, including crackers and fruits. Following the event, all food items were donated to Grace Conservation (Hifz Al Naema) to support families in need.

Eight renowned Fatafeat chefs — including Chef Sumaya Obaid, Chef Marwan Sardouk, Chef Hanan Oudahou, Chef Soul Abu Zahr, Chef Kholoud Sohel, Chef Mahmoud Salah, Chef Ali Sayed, and Chef Chahrazad — along with host Chef Firas Kazma, assembled the board live before an enthusiastic crowd in just four hours.
The celebration coincides with the launch of the five-episode Fatafeat series "Tom and Jerry’s Big Cheese Adventure", premiering June 4 at 1:30 PM KSA time on Fatafeat (beIN channel 251, STC TV channel 54, TV by e& channel 401, and OSNtv channel 25). The show is also available for streaming via discovery+ on JawwyTV and OSN+. The series documents the behind-the-scenes journey of the record-breaking event, interwoven with nostalgic Tom and Jerry-inspired recipes and fun park challenges.
In addition, Cartoonito will broadcast Tom and Jerry specials daily at 09:30 AM from June 2 to 15, while the Cartoonito MENA YouTube channel features exclusive cheese-themed content in collaboration with Fatafeat's cooking episodes under the Cartoon Network Menu series.
To further amplify the celebration, Tom and Jerry’s digital platforms are undergoing a full takeover throughout June, featuring livestreams of classic episodes and highlights of their most memorable moments.
Fans can also look forward to the release of the Tom and Jerry 85th Anniversary Kids Collection DVD, which includes 30 iconic shorts and appearances from beloved characters like Nibbles Mouse, Spike and Tyke, and Muscles Mouse.
The excitement continues this summer with a special Tom and Jerry-themed episode of Super Mega Cakes on the Food Network, where chef Duff Goldman and top U.S. cake artists will craft creations inspired by the animated duo.
Later in the year, a new lineup of Tom and Jerry-themed games will roll out, including Paws & Blast Mobile Game, Eggy Party x Tom and Jerry, Acecraft x Tom and Jerry, and Fat Goose Gym x Tom and Jerry.
To top it all off, fans can catch a brand-new series of Kawaii-style animated shorts titled Tom and Jerry Gokko beginning in July across social platforms, with a new short launching each week. A teaser is already available for eager viewers.
Global retail partners Miniso and Hot Topic are also joining the celebration, launching exclusive Tom and Jerry Gokko-themed collections featuring toys, stationery, apparel, and accessories available both in-store and online.
