VAST Data, the AI data platform company, has appointed Amy Shapero as its first Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Shapero, the former CFO of Shopify, joins VAST Data's executive leadership team to guide the company through its next phase of rapid growth and global expansion, with a focus on scaling the company’s operations and accelerating market adoption of its AI-driven data platform.

Shapero brings a wealth of experience from her previous role at Shopify, where she played a pivotal role in scaling the company’s revenue from under $700 million to nearly $6 billion in less than five years. Her extensive background includes leadership positions in both private and public technology companies across various sectors, including commerce, financial services, marketing, and information services. Her expertise lies in driving financial strategy and operations for high-growth, data-intensive enterprises, making her an ideal fit for VAST Data's ambitious plans.
