The UAE's PropTech sector is expected to more than double in value by 2032 as developers, architects and property buyers increasingly adopt digital technologies to improve planning, design, sales and asset management.

According to market research firm MarkNtel Advisors, the UAE PropTech market was valued at approximately AED 2.49 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach around AED 5.95 billion by 2032. The market is expected to register a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 13.28% between 2026 and 2032.

The growth is being supported by the UAE's smart city initiatives, investment in digital infrastructure and rising demand for technologies that can improve efficiency across the real estate lifecycle.

VR and AR reshape property development

Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) are emerging as important technologies within the country's PropTech ecosystem. These solutions allow developers, architects and potential buyers to visualise properties and architectural designs before construction begins.

Immersive technologies can also help project teams identify potential design changes at an earlier stage, potentially reducing costly revisions while improving communication between architects, developers and clients.

As developers seek to reduce project risks and enhance customer engagement, VR and AR are increasingly being incorporated into planning and design workflows.

Lifesize Plans expands immersive visualisation in UAE

Lifesize Plans Dubai, an Australian provider of life-sized architectural projections and immersive visualisation technology, has reported growing demand for these solutions since establishing its UAE operations in 2023.

The company combines full-scale architectural plan projections with VR and AR experiences, allowing clients to physically explore projects at a 1:1 scale before construction starts.

According to Georges Calas, CEO of Lifesize Plans Dubai, demand is increasing for immersive visualisation tools that enable developers, architects and homeowners to identify design opportunities before construction, helping save time and costs.

PropTech investment supports real estate transformation

The UAE's continued investment in digital transformation and major real estate developments is expected to support further growth in the PropTech sector.

As technologies such as VR and AR become more integrated into property planning, design and customer engagement, immersive visualisation is expected to play a growing role in how developments are conceived and experienced.

The projected expansion of the PropTech market highlights the UAE's broader shift toward technology-driven real estate, with digital tools increasingly supporting decision-making across the property development process.
