Turkish Airlines launches Arabic Call Centre
Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier of Turkey and Europes best airline, launched an Arabic Call Centre to serve customers across ten countries in the Middle Eastern region.
Arabic-speaking passengers booking or travelling Turkish Airlines can now get their queries answered in their language as tele-callers receive calls from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco.
Adem Ceylan, Vice President of Marketing & Sales for Turkish Airlines in Middle East & Cyprus, said: The Middle East is one of the most important regions for Turkish Airlines and we have seen total passengers carried increase by 10 percent in the first quarter of 2015 reaching 1.3 million passengers from 1.18 million passengers for the same period in 2014.
We listen to our customers and innovate to their needs. There has been an increasing demand for passengers travelling from this region to have Arabic speaking customer service agents addressing their needs over the phone. The launch of a dedicated Arabic call centre serves that need.
The call centre was launched at an Iftar event in Amman, Jordan, hosted for travel agents and attended by senior Turkish Airlines officials. The awards night was held to honour and recognise Turkish Airlines travel agents.
Mazen Disi, General Manager, Turkish Airlines Jordan, said: The Arabic Call Centre which is based in Turkey and manned by around 50 customer service representatives will not only serve queries and complaints but also assist passengers in booking tickets, and providing information about the Miles&Smiles frequent flyer program.
Fatih Guver, Call Center Manager, Turkish Airlines, said: We are delighted to be launching an Arabic call centre for so many parts of the Middle East region. Turkish Airlines has a huge number of patrons in the Middle East and it has always been our motto to give them superior service. Our customers come first and with the call centre we hope to take our service to even greater heights and cater to the Arabic speaking market like never before.
Turkish Airlines was chosen Europe's Best Airline for the fifth year in a row this year.
