Standard Chartered seeks Emirati talents at its Second UAE National Job Fair
UAE, [24 September,] 2014 Standard Chartered has today commenced (25 September) its second UAE National Job Fair that will be held, at the Diamond Ballroom 1 and 2 of The Address Dubai Mall from 09 am to 7 pm. The latest edition is being conducted as part of ongoing efforts to position the Bank as an international employer of choice for local talent capable of driving sustainable business growth by 2020.
The dedicated open day aims at identifying and recruiting high-calibre UAE Nationals interested to make their careers in the world of banking and finance. The job fair complements the Banks active participation in various career fairs for UAE Nationals across the countrys universities.
Senior representatives from Standard Chartered will be conducting walk-in interviews with candidates and will be onsite throughout the event to discuss the various roles and responsibilities for current and potential positions across the Bank.
Almost half of Standard Chartereds Emirati employees have been working for the Bank for the past 5 to 10 years. Of the total National workforce, 75 per cent are female and 13 per cent hold senior positions. The Standard Chartered UAE National Job Fair is a key initiative for maintaining and improving these favourable demographics.
