His Highness Sheikh Nahyan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, has officially inaugurated Redwood Nursery and Kindergarten on Jubail Island.
The inauguration took place during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, October 1, marking the opening of the early childhood education facility in Abu Dhabi.

During the inauguration, Sheikh Nahyan toured the nursery's educational atelier, indoor gym, library, classrooms and outdoor learning environment.
He also met members of Redwood's teaching, medical and administrative teams and was briefed on the educational programmes, healthcare services, as well as cultural and sporting activities available to children.
Nursery combines leading education approaches
The new facility offers an evidence-based emergent curriculum developed with input from early childhood education specialists.
Kids First Group, which operates Redwood, has brought together elements of several established educational frameworks, including Montessori, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Reggio Emilia and STEM.
The programmes are delivered in a purpose-designed environment intended to combine the nurturing atmosphere of a nursery with the educational foundations of a school.
Redwood welcomes children from 45 days to six years old.
Kids First Group highlights Abu Dhabi investment
Kamil Najjar, Founder and CEO of Kids First Group, said the company was honoured to have the facility inaugurated by Sheikh Nahyan.
He said the group's investment in Abu Dhabi and Jubail Island reflected its commitment to creating an environment where young children have the space and support to explore their abilities.
Najjar added that the facility aims to equip children with skills that can help them participate actively in their communities.
