SAS Collaborates with Dubai AI Office to Train 5,000 Emirati Students in Advanced Technologies
The UAE's Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office, in collaboration with the Emirati Human Resources Development Council in Dubai and SAS, the global leader in advanced analytics, has launched a new initiative titled "5,000 Digital Talents."
The initiative aims to train 5,000 Emirati students in advanced technologies over the next five years. It aligns with Dubai's strategic vision to bolster its digital economy, empower youth, and solidify the UAE’s position as a global leader in innovation and sustainability.
The program seeks to equip young Emiratis with essential skills in emerging tech sectors, preparing them for leadership roles in an increasingly fast-evolving global landscape.
SAS has pledged to support the initiative by offering mentoring, guidance, and tailored training courses to ensure students gain the practical expertise needed for success.
Michel Gharib, Executive Director of SAS UAE, said:
"At SAS, we believe in the transformative power of education and innovation. This initiative underscores the UAE's steadfast commitment to building a sustainable future by investing in its citizens. We are honored to contribute by empowering Emirati youth with the knowledge and tools they need to excel in the digital economy."
This initiative focuses on developing the technological capabilities of university students in their final years of study. It offers practical mentorship, professional development, and easy access to global leaders in the digital sector. By doing so, it supports the UAE’s efforts to create a future-ready workforce capable of driving progress and addressing global challenges.
The program also aims to strengthen the UAE’s position as a global hub for technological innovation while fostering a model of sustainable development.
