Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. today announced the expansion of its wearables portfolio with the launch of the new Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra. These new devices aim to enhance digital health through Galaxy AI, offering personalized insights and tailored health experiences for a holistic approach to everyday wellness.
Galaxy Ring: Simplifying Wellness Through Sleep
The Galaxy Ring offers a straightforward approach to wellness, featuring Samsung's proven sensor technology in a lightweight and durable form. Weighing between 2.3 to 3.0 grams and crafted from Titanium Grade 5, it ensures comfort during extended wear and offers 10ATM water resistance. The Galaxy Ring provides 24/7 health monitoring with up to seven days of battery life and integrates seamlessly with Samsung Health without requiring a subscription.
Key features include best-in-class sleep analysis, energy scoring, and heart rate alerts. The Galaxy Ring's AI-driven insights and personalized messages help users improve their well-being across various health metrics.
Galaxy Watch7: Comprehensive Everyday Wellness
The Galaxy Watch7 is designed to offer a holistic understanding of personal health. It tracks over 100 workouts, offers body composition analysis, and includes advanced sleep apnea detection. With the enhanced BioActive Sensor and the first 3nm processor in the Galaxy Watch lineup, it delivers increased accuracy and seamless performance.
Key health monitoring features include heart rate monitoring, ECG, blood pressure monitoring, and AGEs index tracking. The Galaxy Watch7 is available in 40mm and 44mm sizes, with various color options and new watch bands to match personal styles.
Galaxy Watch Ultra: Maximizing Performance
The Galaxy Watch Ultra builds on the Galaxy Watch7's features, offering advanced fitness tracking and extreme durability. It includes a Titanium Grade 4 frame, 10ATM water resistance, and operates at a wider range of altitudes. With new features like Multi-sports tile, Functional Threshold Power (FTP) for cycling, and an Emergency Siren, it is designed for high-performance athletes and adventurers.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra also offers up to 100 hours of battery life in Power Saving mode and 48 hours in Exercise Power Saving mode. It will be available in a 47mm size with multiple color options.
Availability
The Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch7, and Galaxy Watch Ultra will be available for pre-order in select markets starting July 10, with general availability starting July 24.
