Salesforce Announces $500M Investment in Saudi Arabia to Drive AI Innovation and Growth
Salesforce has announced a $500 million investment in Saudi Arabia, reinforcing its commitment to AI-driven innovation and economic development in the region. The investment, unveiled at LEAP 2025, aims to accelerate workforce development through AI training and expand Salesforce’s local partner ecosystem to support businesses in the Kingdom.
The move follows Salesforce’s pledge at the World Economic Forum in Davos to strengthen its presence in Saudi Arabia, including the establishment of a new regional headquarters in Riyadh. The rising adoption of Agentforce, the company’s digital labor platform, reflects the growing demand for AI solutions, underscoring Salesforce’s role in advancing AI technology in the Kingdom.
As part of its expansion, Salesforce will introduce Hyperforce, its next-generation platform architecture, to Saudi Arabia. In collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), this deployment will allow businesses to run workloads locally while adhering to regulatory requirements. The initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s digital transformation goals by enabling local enterprises to leverage advanced AI capabilities securely.
Empowering Saudi Businesses with AI-Driven Solutions
Salesforce is partnering with global consulting firms, including Capgemini, Deloitte, Globant, IBM, and PwC, to provide AI-powered solutions that enhance business efficiency and growth. Agentforce, Salesforce’s AI-driven workforce augmentation tool, will be instrumental in helping enterprises scale operations through autonomous AI agents.
“We are entering a new era where autonomous AI agents working alongside humans are transforming businesses worldwide,” said Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO of Salesforce. “With Agentforce, Hyperforce, and our global partner ecosystem, we are empowering Saudi organizations to achieve unprecedented levels of productivity and success.”
AI Skilling and Workforce Inclusion Initiatives
Salesforce is also committed to training 30,000 Saudi citizens in AI, with a particular focus on increasing female workforce participation. Through a partnership with Riyadh-based Princess Nourah University (PNU), the largest women’s university in the world, Salesforce will provide AI-focused learning and workforce development opportunities. The initiative will leverage Trailhead, Salesforce’s online learning platform, to equip female students with the necessary digital skills to excel in the AI-driven economy, supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 for inclusive growth.
Dr. Ala Alluhaidan, Dean of Development and Quality Deanship at PNU, emphasized the importance of the collaboration, stating, “This investment not only underscores Salesforce’s confidence in our vision but also paves the way for groundbreaking advancements in education. Together, we are committed to fostering innovation and empowering our students.”
Commitment to Arabic Language AI Expansion
As part of its long-term strategy in Saudi Arabia, Salesforce is expanding Arabic language support for its AI solutions, ensuring greater accessibility and inclusivity. The company’s focus on enhancing AI-driven transformation aligns with its mission to empower businesses and individuals in the region.
