Recently Appointed SAP Chief Revenue Officer Manos Raptopoulos Highlights AI’s Transformative Power at LEAP 2025

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is redefining the business landscape, and companies that fail to embrace it risk falling behind. Manos Raptopoulos, the newly appointed Chief Revenue Officer for SAP in Asia Pacific (APAC), Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), and Middle Eastern Europe (MEE), addressed the urgency of adopting AI at LEAP 2025. Speaking from the main stage, Raptopoulos emphasized the importance of moving beyond the AI hype and focusing on unlocking its real business value.

During the event, Raptopoulos shared insights on how businesses worldwide can navigate the continuous disruption fueled by accelerating technological innovation. He outlined SAP's approach to AI, emphasizing their ability to deliver measurable improvements across different business areas and functions.

"We see conviction with regards to the benefits. Business leaders we speak to every day are past the 'why'—they already want to connect AI to concrete business value," said Raptopoulos. "Our unique advantage is that we can provide AI immersed in the customers' business context, going beyond just the technology." He added, "SAP is at the forefront of helping organizations harness AI for business transformation, ensuring they can run their most critical processes with greater efficiency, agility, and visibility."

Raptopoulos also highlighted SAP’s commitment to Saudi Arabia, noting that the company has invested over 1 billion USD in the country. As part of SAP’s long-term strategy, they have established an SAP data center, launched an innovation center, and invested continuously in talent. “Building on this foundation, the focus in the coming years will be to unlock the value of business AI for our customers,” he said.

Raptopoulos’ participation at LEAP 2025 follows his recent appointment to SAP's Extended Board, where he co-leads the global Customer Success board area alongside Jan Gilg. With his expanded role, Raptopoulos is set to drive SAP’s vision for AI-powered business transformation across key global markets.
