Plus500 Appoints UAE Finfluencer Muhammad Alamer as Brand Ambassador

Plus500 has appointed Muhammad Alamer as its Brand Ambassador in the UAE, strengthening the company’s focus on financial education, responsible market engagement, and digital trading accessibility.

Alamer is among the first individuals in the UAE to receive official registration under the country’s finfluencer regulatory framework, holding Registration No. 4 with the Capital Market Authority (CMA), formerly known as the Securities and Commodities Authority.

The appointment brings together Plus500’s digital trading capabilities and Alamer’s nearly 17 years of experience across banking, wealth management, and financial services. During his career, he worked with major UAE banking institutions including Emirates NBD, Mashreq, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, and Commercial Bank of Dubai, advising affluent and high-net-worth clients.

The move comes as the UAE continues to formalise oversight of financial content creators and market commentators. Under the current framework, registered finfluencers are expected to comply with standards covering accuracy, disclosure, transparency, and ongoing regulatory supervision.

Commenting on the appointment, David Zruia said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to combining institutional expertise, trader education, and responsible financial engagement.

Alongside his institutional experience, Alamer has built a growing public presence through market reports, educational webinars, financial commentary, and Arabic-language financial education initiatives. His work focuses primarily on commodities, macroeconomics, and long-term trading discipline, with an emphasis on helping traders understand broader market forces rather than short-term speculation.

Alamer is also pursuing doctoral research examining how artificial intelligence is influencing productivity across the UAE financial sector, reflecting wider industry interest in the intersection between technology, decision-making, and financial services.

As part of the partnership, Alamer will lead public webinars, educational initiatives, market commentary sessions, and trader engagement programmes available to Plus500’s global customer base, including users of its UAE-regulated operations.
