Technology-Driven Safety and Efficiency
NMDC Energy’s pavilion features several advanced solutions, including:
- Connected Workforce Solution: Wearable devices that monitor worker locations, detect immobility or suspicious movements, and notify health, safety, and environment (HSE) teams in real-time.
- Blind Spot Detector: A 360-degree visibility system to eliminate blind spots around heavy machinery, enhancing operational safety.
- Site Safety Analyzer: AI-powered cameras that analyze safety in heavy assembly areas, viewable on a central dashboard.
- Augmented Reality (AR) and Digital Twin Technologies: AR systems assist in project planning and risk assessment, while digital twins create virtual models of physical assets for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing performance.
Yards and Fleet Expansion
NMDC Energy is set to inaugurate its Ras Al Khair yard in Saudi Arabia in early 2025. This 400,000 sqm facility will offer extensive services, including fabrication and maintenance, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to diversify its economy. Additionally, NMDC Energy’s AED 200 million investment in its Mussafah yard will enhance modernization efforts and improve efficiency. An expansion of its ICAD 4 facility will increase capacity for coating and piping services.
The company's fleet includes specialized vessels for marine operations, and NMDC is highlighting its new Heavy Lift Vessel, designed to support offshore wind farm installations and accelerate energy transition.

NMDC Energy is presenting updates on its significant projects, such as the Hail & Ghasha development, which involves the construction of four drilling centers, a processing plant, and over 300 km of subsea pipelines.
