NEP Group Appoints Waleed Isaac as President for Middle East and Asia Operations

NEP Group, the world’s leading media services provider for live sports and entertainment, has announced the appointment of Waleed Isaac as President for its growing Middle East and Asia operations. Mr. Isaac will officially assume his new role on 1 August 2025.

Based in Dubai, Mr. Isaac brings over 30 years of global experience spanning complex industries, including large-scale events, energy, infrastructure, and oil & gas. He has held leadership roles in major multinational companies, including GE, BrandSafway, and most recently the Loxam Group, where he has served as Regional COO for the Middle East since 2022.

Fluent in English, Arabic, and French, Isaac’s wide-ranging expertise, combined with his extensive cultural and market knowledge from working across the Middle East, India, Singapore, and cities such as Atlanta, London, and Paris, makes him well-positioned to lead NEP’s regional expansion strategy.

“I couldn’t be more pleased that Waleed has accepted the role of President for our growing Middle East and Asia region,” said Martin Stewart, CEO of NEP. “He brings a tremendous level of executive leadership experience and understanding of the region, which will be instrumental as we seek to drive sustainable, profitable growth through technological innovation, operational excellence, and strong relationships.”

As President, Mr. Isaac will oversee NEP’s operations across the UAE, KSA, India, and Singapore, with a focus on strengthening partnerships with broadcasters, sports leagues, rightsholders, and content producers of both local and global live events.

“I am thrilled to join NEP as we continue to build upon the momentum and investment we have made across the region,” said Waleed Isaac. “I’ve been listening to the market and am very much looking forward to bringing NEP’s tailored, cutting-edge solutions and expertise to our customers to meet their unique needs. I will also be focused on empowering and resourcing our teams so our people continue to deliver at the highest level.”

Upon joining NEP, Mr. Isaac will become a member of the NEP Media Services Executive Team. He will spend his first few months meeting internal teams and engaging with key customers throughout the region. In September 2025, he will join the NEP global team at the IBC Show in Amsterdam, a key industry event showcasing innovation in media, entertainment, and technology.
