Dubai Customs launched an integrated training program initiative, which builds on the thorough review of Flashes of Thought, a book written by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. The training program, devised and delivered by Khalil Saqer bin Gharib, Director of Communication Department at Dubai Customs, features a summary of thoughts from the book. Flashes of Thought serves as a comprehensive course of action for attaining success and a practical guide for employees pursuing self-development and unique performance.
The training program is the first of its kind, featuring the content of the iconic book Flashes of Thought. It is very popular among DC employees. The course consists of playing a short film entitled Ferrari that isproduced by theDubai Government Excellence Programme. The film draws a contrast between a negative employee and a positive one, and how each of them influences their work environment. It also highlights how managers should handlesuch kind of employees, giving them incentives from time to time.

TheDirector of Corporate Communication Department Dubai Customs, Khalil Saqer bin Gharib,who delivers this course, said We at Dubai Customs are committed to reflecting on H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashids thoughts, and translating them into reality both in our personal and professional lives. As always, the messages expressed by H.H. The training program Flashes of Thought is scheduled to take place monthly for one full working day, as devised in cooperation with the Customs Training Center.
