Ministry of Culture and Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority Discuss Enhancing Cooperation on National Identity and Heritage
The Ministry of Culture (MoC) held a high-level meeting with the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority at the Ministry's office in Abu Dhabi to explore ways to strengthen cooperation in preserving the UAE's national identity and heritage.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mubarak Al Nakhi, Undersecretary of MoC, and His Excellency Abdullah Mubarak Al Muhairi, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, along with other senior officials from both entities.
Discussions centered on enhancing heritage-related publications, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards, and fostering stronger collaboration between local sectors to contribute to sustainable development. The meeting also focused on setting future strategies for heritage preservation, documentation, and increasing external participation to promote Emirati heritage on regional and international platforms.
Both parties shared key initiatives aimed at enhancing both tangible and intangible cultural heritage and identified new areas for cooperation that align with sustainable development goals through cultural and heritage projects.
This meeting marks a strategic effort to strengthen ties between the MoC and the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, supporting the UAE’s commitment to preserving its cultural heritage for future generations.
