MBRF presents valuable knowledge insights during 3rd and 4th days of Abu Dhabi International Book Fair
During the third and fourth days of the 33rd Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF), the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) organized a series of engaging events and knowledge-based programs, enriching the literary atmosphere with insightful discussions and workshops.
One notable session, held within the 'Knowledge Lounge,' delved into the intricacies of 'Copyrights and Digital Solutions.' Mohammed Al Matrooshi and Majd Al Shehhi explored topics such as content recreation processes and the role of collective management organizations. Additionally, the Knowledge Lounge hosted sessions on strategies for effective reading, the Lego Cube Strategy for reading development, and discussions on Arabic literature.
Under the 'KnowTalks' initiative, the MBRF organized a discussion titled ‘Oceanpreneurs: Exploring Opportunities in the Blue Economy,’ featuring Marina Antonopoulou from Emirates Nature WWF. The session emphasized the importance of transitioning to a sustainable economic model and environmental conservation efforts.
The Digital Knowledge Hub (DKH) hosted sessions on effective reading strategies and the impact of AI on libraries. Meanwhile, the Publishing and Distribution Department organized knowledge sessions focusing on grammar, terminology, and investigation.
On the fourth day, the MBRF continued its efforts with sessions promoting a culture of reading and financial awareness in the digital age. Authors participated in interactive sessions discussing various literary topics, while experts delved into green investment growth and the impact of AI on libraries.
Furthermore, the 'Bil Arabi' initiative organized interactive sessions on academic publication prospects and Arabic narrative encyclopedias.
The MBRF aims to continue hosting knowledge sessions covering diverse fields throughout the ADIBF, fostering an environment of learning and exploration until May 5, 2024.
