His Majesty King of Tonga VI Greeted: the pioneering smart learning model of ' Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University ' is presented by Mansoor Al Awar

In the presence of Saleh Al Suwaidi, Ambassador to New Zealand of the United Arab Emirates, Dr Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) and the accompanying delegation, recently welcomed His Majesty King Tupou VI, King of Tonga. The visit was planned to study the pioneering experience and accomplishments of the university in spreading this model of learning. In recognition of his accomplishments and pioneering attempts to exploit the potential of smart technologies to foster higher education and to initiate beneficial social and economic change on local and international scales, Al Awar explored the distinctive characteristics of the university's endeavors for a regional and international redefining of higher education.

The lead in the field of intelligent teaching at HBMSU was praised by His Majesty King Tupou VI at local, regional and international level. He said: "Indeed, the advancement of populations and nations is based on education of unequaled significance. Superior intelligent learning from an internationally certified University like Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University provides new possibilities for individuals of nations with Internet networks and opens new horizons for learning.
His Excellency Saleh Al Suwaidi stated: "The HBMSU is one of the leading intelligent universities worldwide which offers an innovative notion of learning and new educating techniques, It actually adds to the excellence of the UAE in schooling. During his past trip to New Zealand, Dr. Mansoor Al Awar met with senior authorities from four colleges in New Zealand. They all applauded the thoughts offered by Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University. Having focused on a significant part of bilateral relations, which is the element of education, today we receive His Majesty King Tupou VI on a very significant visit. These nations pursue with excellent interest trends in remote education and e-learning, particularly in the Kingdom of Tonga in the Pacific Ocean. Many of its people therefore find it hard to get excellent training. Given the experience of the UAE in this field, this visit will provide an extremely significant chance to learn how to help the education system in these nations.

At the meeting al-Awar conveyed his satisfaction, in the form of his enormous confidence in HBMSU as the template of future colleges, with Majesty King Tupou VI and his delegation accompanying it, motivated by an ambition to alter the face of greater schooling according to the demands of the 21st century. Such attempts are in line with the directives of His Altess, the Prince of Dubai and President of the University Sheik Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, to redefine the face of education in order to increase the availability of the future.
Al Awar included: The conference also allowed us to discuss future collaborations between the UAE and the Kingdom of Tonga on information, science and research. We have studied the opportunities for sharing our pioneering experience in redefining higher education in line with wise directives. This effort has enabled us to train and generate entrepreneurs, knowledge ambassadors and innovators.
