HH Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Welcomes Ras Al Khaimah’s Top Scholarship Students and Graduates, Emphasizes the Role of Education in UAE’s Growth
His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, met with 67 outstanding students and graduates from the Ras Al Khaimah Government's Scholarship Office, managed by the Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research. The group included 29 students who earned bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from prestigious local, national, and international universities.
During the reception at Al Diyafa Majlis, HH Sheikh Saud reaffirmed the importance of education in advancing the UAE’s progress and preparing future leaders to drive sustainable growth. He highlighted the critical role that educated and skilled youth play in shaping the nation's future, stating, "Empowered with knowledge, our young graduates will advance our journey towards enduring prosperity."
Ras Al Khaimah’s Scholarship Office supports both Emirati and non-Emirati students, offering them funding and guidance for undergraduate and postgraduate studies at top institutions in the UK, US, Canada, and Australia. HH Sheikh Saud reiterated the Emirate’s commitment to enhancing its higher education system in alignment with Ras Al Khaimah’s long-term development strategy, aiming to foster economic growth and position the Emirate as a leading global destination.
