Galaxy AI Now Supports More Languages with Latest Update

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has unveiled plans to expand the language capabilities of Galaxy AI, introducing including Romanian, Turkish, Dutch and Swedish, as well as the traditional Chinese and European Portuguese.

With these additions, Samsung aims to empower more Galaxy users globally, bridging linguistic gaps and enhancing accessibility. This expansion supplements the existing lineup of 13 languages and underscores Samsung's commitment to democratizing mobile AI.

Moreover, Samsung intends to further broaden its language repertoire later this year by incorporating Romanian, Turkish, Dutch, and Swedish, as well as traditional Chinese and European Portuguese. TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics, emphasized the significance of this move, stating, "Committed to democratizing mobile AI for all, Galaxy AI's language expansion this year will allow even more Galaxy users to communicate beyond language barriers on a scale that is completely unique to Samsung."

The Galaxy AI features encompass a range of functionalities designed to enrich user experiences:

  • Interpreter enables instant translation of live conversations, presented through a user-friendly split-screen view, facilitating understanding between individuals speaking different languages.
