FutureSkills4All Initiative Unveils 500 New Training Opportunities in Partnership with UNDP, MBRF, and EBRD

The Knowledge Project, a collaborative initiative between the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has formed a strategic partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). This alliance aims to offer the EBRD's entrepreneurial community licenses for the ‘FutureSkills4All’ initiative, enhancing their professional and personal skills to boost employment opportunities and job performance.

During a recent virtual session, the parties announced that approximately 500 members of the EBRD entrepreneurship community would receive professional training opportunities through the ‘FutureSkills4All’ initiative.

His Excellency Jamal Bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF, expressed confidence in the partnership's potential to develop both the professional and personal skills of EBRD entrepreneurship community members. He stated, "At MBRF, we are committed to providing knowledge and educational opportunities to enhance professional capabilities, increase productivity, foster international cooperation, and facilitate knowledge exchange among different entities. This collaboration supports the sector and builds a solid foundation for an innovative and sustainable business environment, ensuring the growth and prosperity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)."

Dr. Hany Torky, Chief Technical Adviser and Project Manager of the Knowledge Project at UNDP, remarked, "We are thrilled to be part of this partnership, which is expected to significantly impact the human capabilities within EBRD communities. This training program will equip participants with essential future skills, enabling them to transform their creative ideas into tangible initiatives that contribute to their communities' development and achieve their personal and professional goals."

Dr. Samar Farah, Senior Skills Transformation Consultant for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Coursera, added, "Coursera's focus in this agreement is to provide learners with a comprehensive range of advanced knowledge, enhancing their leadership and entrepreneurial skills. Our goal is to leverage this innovative knowledge initiative to equip learners with new skills that will increase their professional opportunities and empower them to adapt seamlessly to the evolving future."

The virtual meeting, which included entrepreneurs and staff members from partner organizations affiliated with the EBRD, highlighted the strategic partnership between EBRD, UNDP, and Coursera. Participants were introduced to the 'FutureSkills4All' initiative, provided with significant details about accessing its educational programs, and encouraged to apply.
