Emirates Islamic has concluded its Business Banking Promotional Campaign, rewarding 55 Business Banking customers with prizes worth a total of AED 1 million.

The nationwide campaign ran from April 1 to June 30, 2026, and was designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the UAE by encouraging sustainable balance growth and recognising customer loyalty.

The campaign recorded strong participation across Emirates Islamic's SME customer base. Monthly draws rewarded businesses that maintained and increased their account balances, while a post-campaign draw awarded one Business Banking customer the grand prize of AED 250,000.

Supporting the UAE's SME sector

Mohamed Al Hadi, Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management at Emirates Islamic, said the campaign reflected the bank's commitment to the UAE's SME sector and its role in supporting economic diversification.

He noted that rewarding customers for disciplined financial management and balance growth forms part of the bank's efforts to contribute to a more resilient and competitive business environment.

The initiative also supports Emirates Islamic's broader strategy of strengthening relationships with Business Banking customers, increasing Current Account/Savings Account (CASA) balances and supporting entrepreneurs and start-ups across the country.

Focus on Shariah-compliant business solutions

Ghazanfar Naqvi, Head of Business Banking at Emirates Islamic, said the bank remains focused on providing Shariah-compliant solutions tailored to the needs of business owners as their companies grow.

He added that the campaign was intended to provide value beyond conventional banking services by recognising customer engagement and supporting SMEs in pursuing their financial objectives.

Emirates Islamic currently serves more than 45,000 SMEs in the UAE, with the bank estimating that it serves approximately one in every 15 SMEs operating in the country.
