Emirates Islamic contributes AED 2 million to Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences
Emirates Islamic, one of the main Islamic financial institutions in the UAE, has contributed AED 2 million to Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU). The contribution, which is offered via Emirates Islamics Charity Fund, will be used to assist the University launch its first mobile clinic, Wellness on Wheels.'
Commenting on the contribution, Awatif Al Harmoodi, General Manager, Operational Quality and Processes, Emirates Islamic, said:
As a bank that has usually been a pillar of the community and is dedicated to aiding the UAEs healthcare industry, we are delighted to make a contribution to MBRU as they launch Wellness on Wheels'. Through this contribution, we wish to grant wonderful healthcare services to people residing in areas where medical services are inaccessible and in addition to make contributions to constructing a stronger, healthier and happier community.
