Emirates Health Services Achieves ISO 20121 Certification for Event Sustainability
Emirates Health Services (EHS), represented by its Communication and Marketing Department, has been awarded the ISO 20121 certification for event sustainability, marking a significant milestone in its pursuit of institutional excellence and sustainable practices. This achievement underscores EHS's commitment to operational efficiency, environmental stewardship, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The certification followed a rigorous audit assessing EHS’s efforts in enhancing operational efficiency, minimizing environmental impacts, and fostering positive community engagement. The audit report praised EHS’s innovative approach to integrating sustainability principles into its event management practices, aligning seamlessly with the UAE’s 2024 Year of Sustainability vision.
Rashid Al Ali, Director of the Communication and Marketing Department at EHS, celebrated the recognition, stating, “Earning this certification during the UAE’s Year of Sustainability is a proud moment for us.
