DWTC Strengthens Dubai’s Leadership in Business Tourism with H1 2025 Events Calendar

The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) has unveiled a dynamic events calendar for the first half of 2025, featuring over 100 exhibitions, conventions, and conferences across industries including healthcare, energy, tourism, food and beverages, and finance. This robust lineup highlights Dubai’s position as a leading global hub for business, trade, and innovation while aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) to bolster economic growth and diversification.

Driving Innovation and Economic Growth

Mahir Abdulkarim Julfar, Executive Vice President at DWTC, emphasized the significance of the calendar in shaping the future of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry. "Through a diverse lineup of transformative exhibitions and flagship mega-events like Arab Health, Gulfood, and Arabian Travel Market, we aim to spotlight key sectors while driving economic growth. This aligns with our ambitious goal of doubling our event portfolio and tripling DWTC’s economic contribution by 2033,” Julfar stated.

Highlights of the H1 2025 Calendar

The calendar features major international events, including:

  • DUPHAT (7–9 January): Marking its 30th anniversary, this flagship event brings together global pharmaceutical leaders for networking and business development.
  • Arab Health (27–30 January): Celebrating its 50th edition, the healthcare industry’s definitive platform will welcome over 3,000 participants from 70+ countries.
  • Gulfood (17–22 February): The world’s largest annual F&B exhibition, hosting over 5,000 companies and featuring innovations like the Gulfood Green Awards and Food Verse.
  • World of Coffee (10–12 February): A key platform for the rapidly growing MENA coffee market, projected to reach $1.33 billion by 2030.
  • Arabian Travel Market (28 April–2 May): Reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global travel and tourism hub.
  • The World Police Summit (13–15 May): Showcasing innovation and collaboration in modern law enforcement, welcoming 17,000+ visitors and 100+ Chiefs of Police.
  • GISEC (16–18 May): Focused on AI-driven cybersecurity resilience, highlighting advancements in IoT, blockchain, and AI.
  • Middle East Rail (24–25 June): Co-located with Mobility Live Middle East to spotlight the region’s advancements in digitized railways and mobility.

Fostering Global Business Collaboration

DWTC’s calendar not only enhances Dubai’s economic contributions but also fosters networking and collaboration on a global scale. Events like Intersec (14–16 January), iFX Expo (15–16 January), and Seamless Middle East (20–22 May) provide platforms for industry leaders to explore innovative solutions and forge partnerships.
