FHS World, a global hospitality investment summit, will return to Ras Al Khaimah in November 2027, bringing investors, developers, hotel operators and industry leaders to Wynn Al Marjan Island.

The event is being jointly announced by the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA), Marjan and The Bench, organiser of FHS World.

FHS World 2027 is expected to attract around 1,200 delegates, including 250 investors and 200 speakers from more than 60 countries. The programme will combine industry discussions with destination experiences across Ras Al Khaimah’s mountains, desert and coastline.

Hospitality investment and emerging trends on agenda

The summit will cover issues influencing the future of the hospitality sector, including hospitality investment, destination development, wellness and medical tourism, branding, sustainability and innovation.

Technology and artificial intelligence, branded residences and restaurant investment will also feature in the programme.

Phillipa Harrison, Chief Executive Officer of RAKTDA, said the event’s return would provide an opportunity for the international hospitality investment community to experience Ras Al Khaimah and its ongoing tourism development.

Alison Grinnell, Group COO of Marjan and CEO of Marjan Hospitality, said hosting the summit at Wynn Al Marjan Island would give hospitality investors and decision-makers an opportunity to experience the destination directly.

Summit to take place at Wynn Al Marjan Island

Delegates will gather at Wynn Al Marjan Island’s Celebrations & Events Center, which spans 7,708 square metres and includes a 2,633-square-metre column-free ballroom.

The wider resort will also provide dining, entertainment and leisure facilities for delegates during the summit.

Max Tappeiner, President of Wynn Al Marjan Island, said the resort would allow the summit to combine its conference programme with accommodation, dining, entertainment, retail and other hospitality experiences.

The event will also feature destination experiences across Ras Al Khaimah, including Jebel Jais, the UAE’s highest mountain, as well as the emirate’s desert and coastline.

FHS World builds on Ras Al Khaimah history

Ras Al Khaimah previously hosted the event in 2018 and 2019, when it was known as the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference (AHIC).

Since then, FHS World has developed into an international hospitality investment platform. The 2026 edition attracted 1,000 delegates, according to the organisers.

Jonathan Worsley, Chairman of The Bench, said the organiser was pleased to bring the event back to Ras Al Khaimah and host the hospitality investment community at Wynn Al Marjan Island in 2027.
